MACHINE RUNS AWAY:

DRIVES TURN ON BUT TURN OFF WHEN START BUTTON IS RELEASED:
Check to make sure E-Stop button is released.
Check to see if the fault string is closing after start button is pushed. CATI: Check from GND to 14J2-8 & 14J6-9 for +24VDC after start button is pushed.
CATII: Check F0J21-5 for +24VDC after start button is pushed.
If no voltage is present, check for motor overloads tripped, low lube indicator tripped, low air pressure tripped, etc. See machine wiring drawings for terminal block numbers.
If voltage is present, replace latching I/O and/or enable I/O: CATI: Replace I/O 2 (output red) and/or I/O 17 (input white) Opto device on ASSY 14 Digital I/O Module.
CATII: Replace I/O 1 (output red) on F0 (System Interface Module) and/or I/O 8 (input white) on K3 I/O Module.
