Posing As Normal©
The Humor of Mary Tompsett

Welcome

Howdy! If I’d known you were stopping by, I would’ve thrown sheets over the furniture to hide the pet hair, and pretended I was painting the living room.

Life offers so much hilarious raw material that it’s not necessary to dress up Negativity and Whining in a couple of rented clown suits and masquerade them as humor.

So, come on in and have a look, or a laugh. However, if visitors dally too long, I may have to employ subtle nonverbals, and fire up the industrial vacuum for a bimonthly housecleaning.

Even at age two, Mary loved to write, read, and chat,
showing a clear preference for the company of clowns.
